Bruce has over 30 years of experience as a President and Chief Financial Officer in consumer products and technology start-ups. He has over 15 years of experience dealing with the complexities of privately controlled “family” businesses. As CFO of McCain Foods, Shoppers Drug Mart and Sobeys, he gained operating expertise in retail and as a manufacturer within the grocery, drug and food industries. As President of Bodidata he co-founded a leading edge, transformative technology company. His oil & gas, risk management and private equity experience was gained at Gulf Canada, as Vice Chairman at Marsh & McLennan Canada and as President of Hilco Consumer Capital.

Bruce has led or been instrumental in more than 65 mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and financial transactions with a cumulative value of over $26 billion. His Board experience includes Chairman, Audit Committee Chair, Committee Chairman and bankruptcy steward on public, private and University Boards.

Bruce received an HBA (Economics) from York University and an MBA from the University of British Columbia’s Sauder of Business.
